Hello Picasso
By Tyson Cadenhead and Ben Bailey
Hello Picasso, you taught me to paint
Money for candy that I already ate
A three dollar movie, but you took my place
I was drawing a picture, but the picture’s erased.
Under an artist, sleep will not come
I’m tossing and turning –
Awake
Twisting and turning, I never sleep
It seems that this weekend has turned to a week
I tasted the apple, and then it ate my soul
I pushed your button, and then you took control
Hey Ansel Adams, when I posed for your shot
I imagined a camera, and not –
A shotgun.
1 Comments:
BTW, I like your song.
